i was wondering  if i could make it so i could strap my helmet to the back seat so that you could ride the bike with the helmet back there... i know.. i know... ur wondering why i want to have a helmet back there and not wear it.. #1. you pull up to a gas station, gas up and then u gotta move ur bike outta the way.. you either have to hold ur helmet and drive, or put it on... i wanna just strap it to the back seat.. not exactly sure how the honda helmet holder that comes with the bike works but i don't think u can ride around with the helmet in that.... sooo i'll keep you informed if i make any progress.. if u have any ideas let me know

A bungee net works, but then you have to shove that under the seat too...

I used the dremel tool option like Onarom did, it works great. Much easier than the factory way, not sure why they did it like that... Just cut a chunk off the inside part of the factory 'ring' that sticks up and hook the D-ring from your helmet through it. Takes about 2 min for the mod and 5 sec to attach the helmet.

I personally don't like using bungee nets. I've used them on previous bikes and almost always ended up with light scratches on my plastics, and one good gouge where the little plastic nub at the end of the hook came off and dug into my tail section.

Just my .02 cents.

I just pay at the pump with the visor flipped up. No need to remove the helmet at all.
