1. Sheesh...Airtech makes some crap...no quality control as this single cowl came to me cut...wrong...
and cut wrong where there was not enough material...least not in the logical places.

2. Starting an Airtech sucks blog...and a Sharkskins rules....(Skins according to Hybrid is top notch)...

3...Sucesss...now just paint the cowl gloss black,...clearcoat and final bolt down...and this 10 day ordeal is toast.

Fits well, looks clean, nice job.  Deffinately suits the bike.  Post some pics when it's done.

What are you doing on that other forum of which we do not speak to know that Hybrid is there?

Might leave the cowl GLOSS black, since the seat, when I am done cutting and putting on dense cell foam will be flat black.

What about a touch of red on the rear whel/chain cover...

I would go with the blue.  If it is black it just looks like your seat.  You want to make the seat stand out as a solo.  Just my .02

I agree Airtech does suck...I got the race tail to replace my cracked plastics. Had to do alot of cutting, drilling, sanding...the drilling and sanding was expected, but I probably cut a total square foot of fiberglass of to make it fit. At least it came with too much! But seriously, the hole for the petcock dial does not line up at all...almost a whole inch off. Next winter I a replacing the rest of the plastics with a fiberglass race set...maybe do some fancy Ducati-ish thing with the lights, but I am not buying Airtech.
