My most recent Dyno is 94.7HP with a Jardine RT-1 race slipon, PCIII USB and K&N. I took the K&N out because it was hurting low and mid-range. Did the 15/47 regear.

I am wondering what the most cost effective full pipe would be to hit that 100HP mark. At the place that dyno'd my bike, he had on file an '03 F4i with full exhaust and BMC filter and was cranking out 108HP at the rear wheel. Not sure what pipe he had or other mods though.

Is a full pipe worth in your opinions, and if so, what's the best bang for the buck?

I'm kinda doubtful that you'll get another 6 ponies from a full pipe but ya never know.

I doubt that he hit 108 just with a full exhaust and BMC. Plus, you could run the same bike on 5 different dynos and get 5 different numbers. The only true way to find your results is to dyno the bike stock, then dyno it (on the same dyno) after your mods and find out what your gains really are.

Why do you want to hit 100hp? Save your money and use it on something else. If the bike will ever see the track, or if you like to hit the twisties, use that money to have your suspension setup properly.

I did the full exhaust and wish I didn't. I do not know that it was worth it. The money can be better spent somewhere else (sprocket/520 conversion for example).

mang...if you want 100...you'll need to advance the timing as well, amongst other things. this one dude i met at track, he had the HRC kit on his bike and was laying 112 at the rear...very impressive, but what was more impressive was his suspension work which made him kick bootay at the track.

maybe a f/s AND PCIIIr AND race gas will get you close or even over, but i doubt with just a f/s and custom map.

it's ok dudes...even when laying only 92.7 with a f/s AND custom tuning, my cali F4i can sure lay a mean smack down at the canyons and at the track!

This is awful close with just a Yoshimura Tri Oval Slip-On Exhaust and EMS System.

You can read the review HERE

and a test against a stock F4i HERE
