Just wondering, but if I get those H7 bulbs everyone talks about will it give my headlights that bright white look or do I have to do the HID conversion?

Those bulbs will make your headlights appear whiter, but light output is decreased because of the bulb coating......which means you have lights that are indeed whiter, but now are not as bright.

If you want "true" HID's, you can find them on eBay for around $119 bucks that includes 2 bulbs & ballasts. I did a HUGE write-up of how to install them. The HID's were probably the BEST mod I've done to my bike yet. Not only for appearance, but the light output is MUCH more than stock bulbs.......which is safer for a 80% nighttime rider like myself.

I would seriously consider getting HID's if you want that "true" HID look and light output.........the HID "impersonating" bulbs will look alright, but you can always tell which cars/bike have "true" HID's, and which ones have the just the coated bulbs.
