Io need a new stator, I was just wondering if u guys have had a good or bad experience ordering a stator from anywhere particular.  A new one form the shop is gunna run me $330, and that's pretty steep.  I'm hesitant to get one off of ebay beacause when I bought the bike in November it needed a stator and the guy who sold it to me got one off of ebay and put it in for me.  5 months is one hell of a short lifetime for a stator, I don't know if he bought a used one or new off of ebay.  I'm just looking for some input on whether to go ebay or drop the money on the OEM one.  I'm looking to sell my bike soon so I really don't want to be dropping all this money into it.  What have you guys done?

I got one OEM through Bike Bandit over a year ago - so far so good. $300.

I SAW a used one on ebay for a starting bid of $9.99 and that's a good deal for me!

I bought one OEM about a year ago as well. The ones on Ebay, as I was told, aren't the same quality and would go bad faster than the OEM one. So for a quick fix that may not last as long spend about $150 for one or go with the $330 for one that may last longer. The tricky part about it all is that they are electrical parts and you never know when the trons want to get a mind of their one. Just my 2 cents.
