I use my leaf blower it works great for getting all the water out of the tight spots. Has anyone else tried this method.

nah, i just do what i do on my car. chamois (synthetic and not leather). works great every time. but the leaf blower should work well too.

chamois and air compressor.....

^^ Ya same. I put the air blower nozzle on and use my air compressor. Same concept as your leaf blower, but the thin nozzle gets in to the tightest nooks and crannies. then I wax with Liquid Glass.
Oh ya, I also get the bike good and hot either short ride or let it idol to evaporate whats left      I love cleaning my bike I find it relaxing and agood way to give it an overall inspection.

I forgot to mention the down side. That all my none riding friends thinks I am nuts for using a leaf blower to dry my bike.

+1 to leaf blowers

I always use them to blow water off my tires on the car before using tire shine products, works great.

blower rocks, ive been useing it for years, got the idea from the auto car washes.

Donohu40 -> RE: How to dry your bike. (4/26/2007 1:03:17 PM)

watch out when using some leaf blowers,  the one I have doubles as a leaf vacuum and occasionally when I'm using it as a blower stuff that was in it before shoots out.  even a normal leaf blow could suck stuff in and shoot it out.  not that it would happen but if it did it could ruin your day.

I am some what of the lazy type so I let mine air dry, but I also use the Mr. Clean wash system and I dont get spot. My car is black and I can wash it and let it air dry without any water spots.

Microfiber cloths...and a good breeze...

Any water spots...more micro and Plexus...

Oh...and always start your bike a few minutes after washing...the heat will dry the parts you can't see and also the ones you can.

chamois and then just go run from the cops on some interstate

DrDRFT -> RE: How to dry your bike. (7/7/2007 8:36:47 AM)

Well here in Melbourne Australia, we are on water restrictions and you are not even allowed to wash your bike at home, let alone a car....[:@] So now the only place U can wash a bike, is to goto your local carwash and do it there...[:@] But I think people would think Im alittle crazy if I had a leaf blower strapped to my back whilst riding to the car wash[;)]....Good Idea if I was allowed to wash my baby at home though..
