hi guys, I wonder if anyone else here rides a Honda CBR 150R? personally I ride one, a 2007 red version, completely built-up bike from Thailand. a really nice bike for everyday commuting, especially for me to go to school everyday... FYI, I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. here's some pics of my bike: current specs (updated Nov 26th '07): *Kawasaki Ninja ZX150 mirrors *carbon-look triple-clamp protector, gas cap protector, & tank pad *AutoGauge voltmeter *4-level adjustable clutch lever *Daytona throttle grip & throttle cable (gives shorter throttle turn, only 1/4 of the stock throttle grip) *Blue Thunder ignition coil *Denso Iridium spark plug *Keihin PE28 carb, taken from Honda NSR 150SP *DBS full exhaust *stiffer clutch springs made by Honda Thailand *FCCI Racing clutch disc & plate *Nissin brake master cylinder (front), from Honda CBR 600 *Bridgestone Battlax BT45 120/70-17 rear tyre, front remains stock (IRC NR73 80/90-17) *3cm (approx. 1.18in) lowered front fork cheers!

OK, nice product placement. If it were a choice between a moped/Spree/or your bike, I'd pick yours.

Single cylinder, 4 stroke? I bet that little thing will get it in tight situations. Fun little ride for sure.

yup, it's got a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC 4-valve, 150cc engine. pumps out 21bhp, and tops around 100mph on stock condition... replace the CDI with a non-limiter unit, replace the stock carb with a Keihin PE28, get a good free-flowing exhaust system, and it touches 110-115mph easily ;)

the bike costs around US$3000 brand new here in Indonesia... it's manufactured in Thailand, and imported to my country via private importers...

damn, it's been reeeeeeeaaally long since I last visited this forum... been busy with school graduation, preparing for college, etc etc... I've made some progress in modding my bike... changes include: *custom-made graphics *DBS Titanium muffler *Shindengen Step 1 CDI unit *Bridgestone Battlax BT45 120/80-17 rear tire, front (still) remains stock *removed the rear footpegs *removed the rear seat & tucked in a seat-cowl on its place *racing footpegs *aftermarket windshield here's the pic: future upgrade plans include: *porting & polishing the intake & exhaust ports *aftermarket camshafts (still looking for streetable ones) *Keihin PE28 carburetor *transmission upgrades (clutch, gearing, etc) *bigger brakes & stainless-steel braided lines *swap stock swingarm with NSR 150SP's Pro-Arm unit cheers :D

That is a sweet looking little bike. it sits up a bit to high for me and the skinny tires kinda kill the look, but over all it's sweet! I like seeing differant stuff. Any way you slice it it's a Honda so it's all good.
