stereos on sport bikes are becoming more popular. and now with the mp3 players that play videos, people are throwing screens on the bike just for fun. i know some of you would wonder why put a screen on the bike. but why put a tv in your car? you don't really watch it anyway right?

Err well screens in cars are for the passengers I'd be more concerned about hearing emergency vehicles over MP3s

Music is great when you are taking a long trip (like when I rode to California from New Mexico) But when riding in the city, why would you want to listen to anything other than the 15000 RPM symphony you control with your right hand?

I just use an iPod shuffle and a high-quality set of earphones (Bose In-Ear's). A stereo on your bike means you have to crank it just to hear it through your helmet, and forget hearing it when doing anything over 40 mph due to wind noise.........unless you don't wear a helmet, but then you'd be a squid........... *prep's flame thrower*

I ride to enjoy my surroundings, hear my bike purr. Want music, and esp want everyone else to hear you tunes. Drive your car/truck or buy a gold wing

Or do the ipod thing. Its not legal in GA so I dont even bother. But I like listening to the music my bikes makes

I would like a sattilite radio on my bike for long trips. Listen to talk radio etc. I have my ipod velcoed to my bars and run buds in my helmet. The speakers  i use dont stay good in my ears when I put on my lid.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS that has a built in audio player mounted with a RAM mount to my steering stem.  I love the fact that it plays MP3's and is also a touch screen.  I also like that it stops the music to give me directions because I always take trips to the unknown and now can never get lost.  Something to think about anyways.  When I buy a steering dampner, Ill have to change the way I mount it I think.

My buddy alway rides with ear buds in no matter how long or short the trip is.  I have tied it and don't like it to much.  I like to be able to hear what's going on, plus my 2 Bro's slip on is music to my ears.

That bike with all the speakers on it is just gay!

I installed an autocom system on my 02 F4i. Works great. I am able to communicate with other bikes that have the same type of system. I am also able to talk to my wife through the helmets. I can also answer my phone and listen to my ipod/mp3 player. When someone talks or the phone rings the music mutes itself 50% so you can hear and when you are finished the music returns. The earphones and boom mic install into the helmet and I never notice they are there.(no uncomfortable feeling like most earbuds) You also have the option to expand the unit to use a gps. You can also hook up a XM system rather than a mp3 player if you wanted to go that route.

Well worth the money, check it out.

Yes I do answer my phone while on the bike. I am able to answer it without removing either hand from the bars. I am a busy person and just because I am on a bike doesn't mean I shouldn't take calls.

On a side note, I have been told by people that I spoken to on the phone while on the bike, they couldn't tell I was on the bike.
