Too bad about the crash, but at 60mph it could have been worse, at least some drunk redneck in a Ford 150 didn't run over you like it would in my town. Heal up quick.

Side note question. What does road rash do to tattoos?

man, thats gotta hurt, for a long time.   hopefully they gave you some good painkillers.

Man, and I love that color scheme.  there was a kid at my gym with that color scheme.  he said was turning
it into a stunt bike, and I wanted to trade him plastics.  he wouldnt do it, becuase at the time, my left was
rashed alittle bit.   Umm, what dont you understand about "stuning" a bike and the resulting damage? sorry, little rant there.

heal up quick, and remeber, its only 2 minutes to work if your doing 60mph.

Hi,

Just have a few tips for you so that you heal faster. I am a doctor working in the emergency department and have seen loads of biker injuries. For those kind of injuries there is a simple system to get it to heal fast but it is a bit painful. Use normal sterile saline to soak the wound, then use a hair dryer on heating mode in its lowest setting and apply hot air until it scabs. As soon as it starts wetting itself again, re-dry it. Avoid using banadgaes during the night, so dont use good blankets. You have to keep it dry as much as possible. If you have to wear a bandage during the day, apply it extremely loose cos a tight one will make it get wet and the scab starts softening again. Just my 2$ (im not cheap lol)

Chris

Glad it wasn't worse man - I heard of a guy who was killed in his PARKING LOT due to a freak accident where he slid, fell, and hit his head on the curb.  I always wear my helmet, jacket, gloves, and boots.  The only thing I don't always wear are my riding pants - I only wear them if I'm not wearing jeans (like when I have my work slacks on) or when I'm riding more than 10 minutes.  Heal up quick!
