Thought I'd post the bike I just bought. Has all records, and paint and body is perfect, runs great. What do ya think? I paid more than I wanted, but I need a vehicle asap so...

Nice bike....... although I am a little biased about the color scheme

Here is a pic of my 93 :

I have a Second Look seat & Second Look Tank Bra that match the color scheme, blue tinted Zero Gravity windscreen, Vance & Hines SS2R Carbon Fiber pipe, APE CCT, Carbon Fiber overlay's on instrument cluster and triple clamp, and Stage 1 Jet Kit.

Unfortunately Second Look declared bankruptcy in 2004, so finding the matching seat and tank bra is hard, but they are out there you just have to find them.

Not sure on the actual production numbers, but as far as the CBR 600's go, only the 1989 CBR 600F and 1993 CBR's (600 & 900RR) got the Red, White, and Blue color scheme with the white wheels.

Out of the 89 model year, it came in one of two color schemes: Pearl Crystal White with Winter Lake Blue Metallic or Pearl Crystal White with Terra Blue and Fighting Red.

The 93 CBR600F2 was sold in one of two color schemes: Black with Seed Silver Metallic and NR Red or Ross White with Real Blue and NR Red with white wheels.

So it's not like ALL of the 89 & 93 CBR 600's were red, white, & blue which would make their production numbers much lower than if there was only one color offered for those model years.

The color scheme itself (red, white, & blue) is not really that rare, especially for Honda. The old Honda Interceptor's (80's model) used to have it, and IIRC one model year of CBR 1000F had it as well.

But as far as seeing it on a CBR 600, than I would say you probably won't ever see another one like it where you live unless you live in a big metropolitan area.
