Took the wife's 600 back to the track today after installing the lowering link from Soupy. Still do not have the front end strapped down yet. Pulled a 1.78 60ft 7.04@ 104 mph in the 1/8th, still pulled the wheel up in three gears and hard off the line. When she had the 06 600RR it was lowered 3 inches and strapped in the front i ran a 8.88 in the 1000ft. If i would have run it out all the way, i may have matched that time with the 07. Can't wait to get the front strapped and lowered a little more and try it again. I smell 8.60's

went out to the track sat with the ol' lady's bike again, still no strap 1.71 60ft 6.94 at 103 in the 1/8th and 8.89 at 117 in the 1000ft that should be close to a 10.5 run in the 1/4 i think. starting to get use to the wheelies

thats awesome! how much did you lower it? and did you strap the front? mine is lowered 3/4 of an inch in the front and 1 inch in the back. no pipe, no pc, no gear. and the 07 is 1 inch shorter on the wheel base. It wheelies all the way thru first gear. I want to see how quick it will go before i lower it some more.

k. i got my fork tubes slide down about 1/2 an inch and we put a 3in. lowering link on it but i don't strap the front down what rpms are you launching at cuz i'm leaving the tree rattling the rev limiter i leave the line at 15,500 rpms and i really don't have a big issue with the front wheel coming up i just fan the clutches

dude i'm sliding the clutch till 13000 then shifting to 2nd. pulled a 1.74 60 with a 6.91@105.61  1/8th  8.833 @ 116.61mph foot shifting. with a 1/2 tank of gas sun . i set the revs at 9000 then pin it at the launch. can't lower the forks anymore b/c the tubes are tappered. can't strap it b/c the stearing dampner. have to fab something up. watching the tape  the front end transfers too much weight too fast and comes  up right off the line. That 06 600rr we had was set up like yours and it didn't wheelie hardly at all. this thing wheelies in second and third.
