DOES ANYBODY KNOW  ABOUT HOW MANY MILES I SHOULD GET ON A FULL TANK OF GAS BEFORE SWITCHING TO RESERVE?BIKE IS A 88 HURRICANE 600.THANKS

I ran out at 154 miles, reserve doesnt work but there was gas in it...I can safely do 150 miles each tank

I think it depends a lot on what kind of driving you do.  I use mine mainly as a commuter and don't drive at high RPM constantly.  I easily got 250 miles on a tank.

Yeah it all depends on your driving conditions.  I have seen as little as 140 in town and as much as 250 out on long rides.  if you gun it from stop light to stop light commuting every-day just plan on burning more gas.

On the highway I usually fill up around 140 to be safe but I've done 170... around town is around 3/4 of that.... I know it's low, but I do weigh more than the average bear

How much does everyone's tank hold?  I ran out the other day and got 4.17 gallons in.  My reserve switch doesn't work, so i run out kinda often.

You can get a pretty cheap petcock for that bike at www.hondapeninsula.com.  They have MF of any part you would need (hopefully, sometimes Honda doesn't have them anymore),  but the petcock was like $30 for the assembly, strainer, o-ring, etc.

i got a new one from honda not too long ago, so they should still have them.  was about $30 for the assembly.
