Now that you mention it what'd u buy. I say if the price is right and you like the bike, who cares as long as your riding on a rocket! Most of my buddies are on gixxers. Ones got an 04 750, my best friends got a 01 600, another buddies got a 04 600. Just feels good to know that I only paid 2500 for my bike with 15,200 miles and they all respect that mines the fastest, man it feels good! I personally like honda over the suzuki because they feel cheap. Soon as I sat on the seat of my best friends bike I was kind of disappointed. Ride on...

Yeah no problem. You did see where i described it in the first post right? Its got 23,000 miles. I've never wrecked or dropped it and thats all I can tell you. I'm the 2nd owner. I bought it a year and a half ago from cycleworld of athens, ga. It had 15,000 miles when i bought it. It has at least fallen over at some point. I ironically ran across the guy that did all of the stuff to it when i went to look at new bikes this summer. He said it had been over and bent the handlebar, but the dealership had fixed that before I bought it. There are some scratches on the stator cover and upper fairing below the mirror, but i dont know how they got there. I bought it like that. You can look up the prices for all of the stuff on it. The flatslides list for a little over $1000.00. The polish job is professionally done and costs a good bit. The single sided swingarm and wheel to match would run you over $1000.00. A few years ago when i was looking up those swingarms the cheapest i found one was $1300.00. The full exhaust is $600-$700. The fox racing shock twin clicker is about $600. The 17" front wheel when you can find them would cost you about $100. I have no idea how much cams cost. Machine work to port and polish a head will run typical machine shop prices. Probably a couple hundred dollars. Those are brand new chrome bar ends. The grips have been on there for about 200 miles. I only rode the bike once after i put the new windscreen on it. The tires have 90% tread left. 180/55/17 and 120/65/17 michelin pilot sport. So you're looking at $3,000-$5,000 of extras and I'm asking book value of $4,700. I'm in upstate south carolina. I bought a new R1 in August and havent been on the 900 since then.

Yes, the speedometer is off by about 5-7mph. The 900s had speed sensors even then so if its a problem, you can buy one of those little boxes to hook in to correct it. You can email me at yahoo at amwc43. I work a lot so i haven't had much opportunity to advertise it except for cycletrader. I've gotten plenty of calls but nobody can come up with any money.
