The bleeder is just above the thermostat housing, You will have to take the left fairing off . When I refer to two bleeders I am also talking bout disconnecting the small hose that runs from the thermostat housing to the block (its not really needed) but opening the bleeder by the housing is.

OK, take the fairing off on the shifter side. You will then see the casing that holds the thermostat (it is right in front of the shifter). above the thermostat housing is a 1/4 inch hose that runs too the engine block under the carbs. Loosen the hose by the thermostat with the radiator cap removed. after coolent starts to flow freely You can close back up. Hope that helps.

I talked to the mechanic whos house I dropped my bike off at to have him check out what I thought was over heating.  He ran his CBR1000 I believe it is side by side with my 600 and said the temp gauge needle was at the same position on each bike when the fan kicked on.  With all the comments here it sounds like my bike is now normal, I'm just used to it running cooler for whatever reason it did that for the first 3.5 years I had it.  Bring on that young blond!

You could always just open up the tempeture gauge and bend the needle so it runs cooler.
