well since im over targa and there bs seats me and my friend from florida are designing a new one. im good with fiberglass and hes good with desiging and being aerodyanimc along with eye pleasing.  ima have a few rought designs before it actually goes into production. ima be doign the desigining and my friend is gonna be doing the aero part of it. its gonna kinda be resembling the ducati 1098 rear. not exactly liek that but close to and it will be removable and will look alot better than the targa. when i get the final desgin and make it and post pics. if u guys like it and want just tell me and i can make it u just have to get it painted. itll be done here in about 1-2 months. o ya its for the 05-06 with the banana's.

I'll be waiting patiently for the pics! Can't stand the one from targa. Makes the already big ass end of our bikes look even BIGGER. Who the hell designed that thing?

lol no idea i liked it but since they kept dicking me aroudn with it i cancelled my order and asked my friend about a design. thats when we came up with this idea, since he has access to alot of good stuff at place he works(windtunnel) we gonna have a good thing. i know the cowl wont be that much better in aero but i wanna see how the design flows. mainly is looks and easy taken on and taken off. we really liek the 1098 tail and how it flows with the bike. ill have a rough sketch here within next couple of days

of course, ima make one for right now and ima take pics during the process and get it painted and then on the bike and take final pics of it. i will make more for people that want but there gonna be unpainted and there gonna be cheaper than the targa's. just gonan put in alot of time so it looks good and flows well with are bikes. after i make and post pics ill get the request out there for people that want them, should take 1-2 weeks to make each one so not gonna be a fast turn around since im just 1 person. but if people do want them and like the way they look then ill make and just ask for people to pay after its made cuz i dont like holding to peoples money. ima save the cast so its quiker to make more.

everyone give me some ideas what u guys would like such as releated to other bikes and such, the design im goign for is to elimante the steel bar in the back and have the lines flow over that and make a clean smooth looking tail. im open for request and would like suggestions so when me and my friend are getting the final design together we know.

well the design is pretty much set my weekend is gettign here soon(screwed up schedule with my job) ima have the foam and everythign glued so i cant start shaping. me and my friend were gunning for the ducati 1098 rear just a lil smaller and more narrow for the f4i. we added a middle rear defuser vent in the middle to add a lil more design to it. on the cpu it looks good from what my friend said, after i get it made which shoudl be done it bout week or 2 gonna send to him in florida. ima start posting pics on the foam soon so keep checkign back. i would post a drawing but i suck at drawing and would get joked for my crappy ability, im more of a hands on make things with the pic in my mind. but if u guys wanna see ill post tonite just dont joke

just look at this and slim her a lil narrower on the side and add a slight hump the the middle to adjust for the 3rd vent(talking about the rear) looking at it from behind will carry the similarties of the 1098 but be more close to the 3/4 mark of the rear, not all the way in the back. vents are there to add more flow to the bike and do somewhat serve a purpose and not totally for looks. so heres a pic to get the idea

k here it is, i know it looks blocky and a lil sloppy but i cant draw worth crap. its blocky so my friend was able to do it on the cpu so he knows were the curves will be, once its being made it will be smooth and not blocky. also on the seat were its a lil darker is were the hump is, were the single seat to the passenger seat meet is were that dark part is in the drawing. hope this works enjoy and give some suggestions to what u guys think.

Looks good!  I had the 06 banana seat and didn't care for it, but never did anything with it.  I bet you'll sell a lot if you do a good job.

I wish I was as crappy of a drawer as you are.  I think it looks good!

Looks good... Yeah if you go kinda off the 1098 that will look sweet... My buddy just picked up a 1098S... Those bikes are hot, just cost too darn much...
