anyone on here have a Muzzy slip-on? im looking into an slip-on for my '01 F4i that is affordable and the Muzzy seems to be the cheapest. but i know "you get what you pay for". so does anyone on here have one, or know somone who does? just curious of how it sounds and how much of a performance boost they got out of it. im MAINLY looking for an aggressive sound.

Don't let the price on a muzzy scare you off...they are quality made parts.  But, nothing fancy...just aluminum and stainless.

Muzzys aren't loud when you are just riding around town...but you get the engine spooling and it will make some noise.  They aren't as throaty as some of the stuff out there....like D&D or Yoshi (I think D&D are just plain loud).  A friend of mine has an Erion on his F4i and I like that....

I have a full Muzzy. I love it! At first, I thought it sounded like crap at idle. And my wife agreed. I was disappointed. Off idle, it sounded great. And it's not overly loud like some others.

A few days later, it sounded great at idle. I don't know if it grew on me or not. When I took it to work, my co-workers loved the way it sounded.

It fit pefectly. Muzzy built it right with no clearance issues with the plastics or hardware.

I'd have to disagree here.  I have a buddy with Yosh and I have Muzzy s/o.  We revved at a light and comparatively it's like Lion King vs Simba.

i grew up racing quads, so i've always had different pipes for them.  i noticed that Muzzy has a slip on with a welded tab on the silencer like the high end pipes for quads.  i have a two brothers pipe on my f4i, and i'm not impressed with the way the pipe is made.  i don't like the clamp style hanger that almost every other pipe has, and my mid-pipe twists to rub against the swingarm.  i do, however, like the sound.  it is not obnoxious and sounds nice at idle.  when just cruising along (4-5k) i can barely hear the pipe, but when i twist the throttle...  she has a nice note!  i'm seriously looking at getting the muzzy just because i hate the mounting of mine so much.
