Does anybody know if there are any aftermarket springs that will fit the stock shock on the F4i? I've been setting-up my bike's suspension(www.sportrider.com suspenion guide) and it looks like I might need a stiffer rear spring to get better handling. Sounds like the bike is riding nose high, because the bike feels like it's going to push easily, and also it wants to steer wide exiting turns. But it does not seem to bottom out. I think that my steering bearings might be a little on the tight side, how can I tell? Be for I order anything I going to adjust tire pressures, and set the rear spring to the stiffest setting. I might also raise the forks in the triple clamps 5mm to 8mm and see if that helps any.

how much do you weigh? if you're like 170 full gear you need a new spring. check the suspension shops. you can just swap the spring but i think there are some things you have to do first (not a direct swap).

if you're steering wide, could also mean that suspension is too soft.

Nope I'm a tad bit heavier than that, about 300lbs. But I'm working on loosing weight, but in the mean time I would like to get my set-up to handle the best it can with someone this heavy on it. I just want to be safer. I'm new to riding Sportbikes and I don't want to get use to handling a bike that is not set-up correctly.

ok at 3 bills you'll need to respring the front as well. the stock spring up front goes to about 140 or 150. much too soft, you'll need to get a spring to match your weight with gear on. you should also revalve the front.

as far as the rear, i'd get a brand spanking new ohlins or penske...
