I was working on my bike and I had the ignition unscrewed from its mounting exposing the contacts. Well you guessed it the contacts made connection with my stay and sparked. Now the gauges wont even come on. I checked the fuses, check battery power, and bypassed the ignition but I could not get power. Not even power from the headlight wire. I really dont know much about bike wiring set up so if anyone could point me in the right direction as far in what to check I would apperciate it. I hope it something small but I am sure I burned something out.

Have you checked your fuzes? You may be lucky and have just blown them rather than doing anything else any harm.

sounds like it may have blown a starter or something (though i dont know how...your fuses should have caught that) does it try to turn over when you bypassed the ignition?
