Too Fast.

Call me what you want.... I am too scared to look at the speedo when I am going that fast. Not that it would matter since I don't have a speedo healer.

Take your bike to the track and use a lap timer. If you want to know the top speed on the street QUIT BEING A SQUID you're gonna kill someone.

Its pretty fast. The acceleration is awesome. There aren't many places to run wot except on the interstate. 175mph is what I got stock. GPS. 181mph was on speedo. After a RS-5 190mph on speedo 177mph GPS. Its plenty fast. 0-60 in about 3 secs. 1/4 mile in about 10.5 to 10.9 secs. I am going to do some more runs but damn, its scary fast. I just wanted to see what it would do. I like the accerleration not so much the top end. 175mph + is s c a r y. Oh what a feeling, its so smooth, just don't pop your head up.

I have only done that once on an empty road, but you are right - that sort of rding belongs on the track.

I am rather respectable in traffic. I think it is hard enough to deal with the stereotype that sportbikees (and their riders) have without me adding to the problem.

i raced up to about 170 something on mine..... But i'm an idiot..... the wind was amazing at that speed..

But where you really have fun with the bike is at the lower rpms... nothing like a liter bike to make you feel happy at almost any rpm

dito to everyone, the little "F"er is fast lol. and my bike does make me happy like onewreckedRR said, almost any RPM Im in I can put a smile on my face instantly with a little twist of the throttle. Ive only done 150 MPH since i bought her on the 14th but i havent been to the track yet, i did it on my way to work, street was straight and empty and it was 4 in the morning lol.

I dont know if its true or not but dont all stock sport bikes have a 185MPH governor on them?

Fast enough to allow you to at least read the license plate on a suzuki 1000rr throug 140mph, after that you might as well back off.

riding in the 170's is craaaazy guys, too fast for me as of now, but im plenty happy with 130 on the highway.
