Live Fast die Young!. I too have a young child and young wife. It doesn't matter what people say even though they can be the most precious things in life. The adrenaline from riding a bike fast says it all. Be slow and live old with no fun. Be fast and die young. At least he died doing what he loved most. I ride on average 15k miles a year and so far have been lucky, but be careful every one, the cagers will take you out. In the 50 miles a day i ride i see lots of potential wrecks so be careful.
