So my 93 f2 with 35.000km's on it is running hot, So I flushed & changed my rad coolent... problem did not go away.. My bike seems too run normal just gets alittle hot at lights or when I let it idle for abit.. It hasnt hit the red zone yet but it gets intoo the 3/4 temp range this is when my fan clicks on is this safe?? will my bike get damaged..?? should I worrie..? .. when im riding my bike the temps in the 1/4 range which is totally normal.. does anyone have any ideas... I just dont want too damage my engine when warmer temps come. I checked my oil before and after I changed it.. there was no coolent in there.. so thats the head gasket out of the question * thank god * what I did notice tho was bubbles forming in the coolent reserve.. but that has calmed right down.. im guessing because there was or is.. air in the rad after the coolent change.. Guys im out of ideas and money.. any ideas would be great! this is what I have done to my bike so far ( below ) summer ready except for the heating issue - Rad flush & coolent change - Oil Change - plug & wire change - battery change

Check around at some other posts, 3/4 is very normal, that is the temp that the thermostat opens and then the fan kicks in.

My bike does the exact same thing. As long as your coolant is clean and you have no air pockets in the cooling system you should have no problems. 3/4 of the way up the meter is normal in stop-and-go traffic. I think you're fine!
