I really like this forum.  Lots of great ideas.  It would be even better if there were som sub-topics.  I am looking for good sources for replacement parts.  Both engine and cosmetic.  Anyone know of good aftermarket suppliers. I have had my cane snce the 3qrly 90's.  I need to do some updating and mechanical work to it.  It has sat for a while.

Thanks!

well, if you have been in the cane game since the 90s you should know there is very little aftermarket for this bike.  when it comes to OEM parts, i always get them from http://www.servicehonda.com/parts.php they have the cheapest prices all around i have seen.  if you get the honda part number, you can add it to your cart that way.  any microfiche parts finder will list them.

the only real aftermarket things i see are the maier plastics.  some knick knacks here and there, ebay is the best place for those.  maybe if you have some specific ideas, we might be able to point you in the right direction.

That is what I have found.  Back in the day there were lots of vendors.  They seem to have all dried up.  Thanks for the link.  That was one of the things that I needed.

Actually I found www.hondapeninsula.com to be the cheapest and they have microfiche.  The guy that I talk to in the parts department, Dan LePage has been pretty helpful in locating plastic for my 88 1000F.
