Does any one have any suggestions on a digital gear indicator for a CBR 1000RR. I am tired of wondering what gear I am in.

Personally, if I'm riding hard I keep up with gears in my head. Nothing like screwing up and shifting into 7th eh? If you'll make a conscience decision to count your gears (up and down) and keep track of it for a week or so of riding, then it'll become like second nature and you won't need an indicator.

I've been riding for 10 years now, I have never heard of people not knowing what gear they're in, I thought that was just something you knew after a while. Oh well, you really should just learn to count gears in your head, never rely on any gauge that you don't absolutely have to.

Sounds like some riders need more time riding and listening to the sound of their engines. Cant recall not ever knowing what gear Im in, kind of dangerous if you like knee dragging, wrong shift = high side.
