hey guys, I am going with the Yosimura RS-5 Carbon Fiber exhaust. My question is should I get the full exhaust or just go with the slip-on? Money isn't a issue. I just need to know what are the differences if any between the two...I'd really like to know!

Best is subjective, not objective.

Next, you need to stipulate the intent of the bike: street only, street w/ a smattering of track days, or track only bike. Why? What is the rpm range where the bike will spend most of its time.

Appearance: round, oval, or box style. Stainless, Alum., Carbon fibre or Ti.

Weather conditions: If you ride in inclemate weather you'll need to spring for the top eschelon because of better workmanship & materials will last longer.

In short: slip-ons probably give better low rpm/torque whilst sacrificing top end rpm. Full system typically offer gains at higher rpm. Thus the former might be better on the street; the latter being best for track use.

Arguably, Arata, Moriwaki Sato, are the very best. Akrapovic, Arrow, Leo Vinci, Ti-Force & Yoshimura are also in the hunt. Then maybe ones like Devil, D&D, Erion, Hindle, Jardine, M4 & TBR, etc are more price conscience.

Unless you have an AMA number in single digits it probably won't matter what brand you install. So, buy the one you like best. Back to the beginning.

Cheers
