Don't know -- your picture didn't work. Off the top of the olde noggin I'd say yellow rims might be a tad boisterous. Just me though

I have seen it and it looks good as long as the yellow is the SAME as the bike...otherwise I have seen it with with white wheels and it is cool, really brightens up the bike

We have a few yellow bikes on our site with yellow rims. We don't have any for your specific model, but you can get an idea how they might look. The key is getting the color correct. If the wheels don't match the bike exactly, it may look a bit odd. There are a few bikes on the site where the colors are a little off. RRZone Photos Section Here's a few from the site:

ORIGINAL: astro929 i am doing the rim thing now, i looked every ware for white rims, 3 day online and im ending up having to get mine powder coated. 120.00 a wheel. thats blasted and painted. you dont see many painted rims on handas any more, go for the color. Astro929, I don't want to be a jerk, but damn, $120 a wheel? My buddy had his rims blasted and coated for $35 per wheel single color and they look sweet. I need to get mine done as they are pretty beat up with all the miles I have on the bike.

Hey guy, new to the site and came here first. I have a yellow/black 2000 929 with yellow rims (spokes) with polished edges and lip. I really liked it when I first got it, about a year ago. But now I'm getting tired of it. I rather do more black than yellow and I'm actually get black number plates for the front and rear. I'm now getting my rims powercoated next week with the color "Mirror Black." I like it, but not mcuh more. I'd go for it if you think you'll like it and stick with it. Otherwise its a waste of money if you don't think you'll keep it. If you want pics, email me.

I haven't seen a 929 with one but there is a Fireblade elsewhere in this forum with yellow rims and they look sweet! Go ahead and try it!
