I also think the stock tire size is best.

That's what the bike was designed to use.  Why mess with perfection?

same here - sorry guys but I just don't get the tire thing.  160 is stock for the F2.  If Honda thought it needed a 180 then it would be stock.

stock is 160 yes. And where did you find those tires? Those are absolutley sick

yeah thats cool, and the ones im talking about ARE tomahawks...

they have decided to discontinue and are now doing a closeout on ALL their colored tires....

29.99 each@!

did you not read the post above yours. its says they are rated a 38 out of a possible 100. Tomahawks are re treaded tires. Spend some more money and atleast purchase some Shinko's. Tires are the only thinkg keeping you on the road put something better on than tomaSUCKS.

Everytime I see this thread where someone asks the biggest size it to me says "Noob"  

Anyone who understands even the basic fundamentals of any bike should know that the biggest, fattest, widest, most low profile tire isn't necesarily the best tire for a bike.

have 92 cbr600f2 170 fits just fine, 180 fits butreally close to chain plus
rim really not wide enough for proper tire fit might roll!!

Isn't the real issue the (possibly) limited size choices you have for high-performance tires?

ie, Dunlop's Sportmax GP  or D208GP race tire only comes in 180 (or 190) for the rear.

(as far as I can tell from their OFFICIAL site... the Dunlop Racing tire lists a 160, so they're contradicting)
