Is there anyway or the best way to carry a extra helmet on a 06 1k rr....thanks

i think ya can secure the helmet straps under the rear seat but wouldn't advise it

Don't let it hang down under any means. It could get caught up in the suspension and down you go.

I don't do it, but look into a bungee net. It's the only safe way to secure anything to the back seat while riding.

i wouldnt do the bungee nets.....i went to a sporting goods store and bought (3) cinch straps....

take the rear seat off fasten the chin strap of the spare helmet and wrap one strap arounfd the chinstrap a few times and run it under and around the rear seat.....then take the other 2.....raise the helmet shield and strap the chin-bar of the helmet throught the seat strap.....once everything is tied down....stuff the extra strap in the helmet and put the shield down, pop the helmet/rear seat back on....

its kind of a pain, but that helmet aint going no where...

bungee hooks scratch and ive seen a few some un-done and the helmet go bouncing down the highway....lol
