The gold looks good, I can see why someone would do it. I'm not the guy to ask this one. I personally looked around to find my 05 Black/Tribal without chrome rims. I HATE chrome, it may look alright on a lawn chair bike (cruiser) but not on a sportbike. My taste... I know, but that's how I feel. With a color rim.... depends on your paint scheme. Or did you mention that already? The gold looks good on the red and black. I still like the flat black rims better....

Are you planning on powder coating the wheels?

I like the red, black and gold, but the upkeep on light color wheels is a pain in the ass! I can hardly keep my black wheels clean...

PS. one set of those wheels you show cost 15-1800$

i agree with doncollins, i prefer the black wheels. but if you have your mind set on powdercoating, go for the gold. older bikes have white wheels and i think that they would make your bike look older. red is fine if you really want the wheels to match your bike. alot of race wheels are gold, i like the racer look, so my vote in for the gold. as for the polished lips, they would look good on the red but not on the gold or white.
