Congrats, wish we were all closer so we could go get sore together. My first trip home from the dealer was around 76 miles, I was sore too. This being my first sportbike, I'm still adjusting to the riding position. Got 240 on her in a week and it gets better every ride! I cant wait to get done breaking it in.

Sorry for all the posts, but WOW... I'm way too excited about this bike. I just went out to my garage to get the owners manual and got all amped up!! Lol, I'm crazy.

Yup, I'm in the boonies in Montana. Luckily my gravel driveway is only like a hundred yards long so it's not too bad. Belive me, it would be in my room but there are way too many steps in this house! Definitely gotta love the open roads!! Lots of free space to open her up... and pass people. Also have a VERY NICE mountain road with tons of twisties about 15 minutes from my house. So I got the best of everything. The only shitty thing is that there is a ton of deer around here. Gotta watch out for those suckers.

Very nice! Just picked up mine today, also. I would have gotten the white/silver if they didn't have the blue/silver color combo. I only put like 30 miles on it today, but I'm riding all day tomorrow. How are you handling the break-in on it? I'm used to my old Kawasaki where I couldn't go over 4k for the first 500 miles, and 6k for 500-1000 miles. That break-in sucked. I haven't gone over 55 mph yet just because I want to make sure everything's ok with the engine.

Well my Honda Dealer and the owners manual claim that there really is no break in. Basically they say its ready to go, and not even to change the oil till 600 miles. Even with all that said, I have still been taking it somewhat easy. Takin the revs up a few times (and got up to about 93, not really even trying to. Just wanted to pass some guy that was doing 40 in a 65. Wanted to get by him quick so I hit it pretty hard in 3rd and before I even got back in my lane the speedo read 93!!!) but mostly just hangin out in 4th, 5th and 6th gear. I will have the occasional hard acceleration, but gonna try and take it easy for a while. Definitaley going to change the oil sooner than 600 as well. I think as long as you don't push it hard it every time, it should be fine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
