Sad News....I was parked at work and a harley guy tips his bike and WAMMMM hits the side of the RR.  Nice dime size scratch and cracked the Mid-fairing.  He has offered to get it fixed and wanted to know if anyone knows where I can order a replacement for a good deal.  I called the bike shop and they told me $376.  I say looking for good deal because I respect the fact that he told me, and offered to fix it and not just takeing off and not say anything about it. 04 1krr by the way.  Right Mid fairing/Red

i dont know how bad the damage is but you can take it to a paint shop and let them do a touch up. if there is no cracks, then they can fix in wtih like 80 bucks range. a hundred tops. just a suggestion.

shipping fairing by mail is troublesome. some people ended up opening the box with cracks or bends +etc and you are not sure if the shipper did that or the shipping company.

They can plastic weld the cracks. I was quoted I think 380 for them to fix my cracks and repaint my 06. A new oem mid was I think 278 from my local dealer. Dont quote me on the new mid, its been a while since I checked it out.

yea, that does suck. you have framesliders?
cracks can be fixed with fiberglass and body filling. however, in your case it seem like you will be better off with some new stuff. did you look at craigslist? sometimes people sell just fairings.

I've replaced many fairing on motorcycles and the number 1 cheapest place to buy factory plastics is ronayers.com. I've dealt with them countless times and i've never been dissatisfied with the parts i've received.

in some cases Ronayers is cheaper  but i've found http://servicehonda.com/   to be about 10% cheaper than ronayers for OEM plastics on 04-05 cbr 1000rr

You can also try http://www.hdlparts.com/.  I have ordered from them several times and shipping is free over $100.
