It sounds good, sounded like your idle was a bit high. Im not sure if I like the angle of it or not, it is different tho, maybe if you tilted it down just slightly to follow the line the the rear cowl. I do want one tho, but in a shorty.

Ya, I think our next one is going to flow with the rear cowl. I think the idle was high cuz the bike was cold and no O2 sensor. I still have to weld the O2 sensor bung. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey Everyone,

Check out the shorty. It doesnt have a baffle or packing yet. Thats tomorrow. My manufacturer is finalizing the mid pipe for me now. It'll be a polished 1 piece design to work with the long canister and shorty canister. Let me know what you think. Also, the angle of the pipe will follow the subframe wit the new mid pipe. This one we fabbed up was just to check performance, sound, fitment etc.

Here is the Standard pipe for comparison.

I think a Carbon fiber, shorty can highmount that is in line with the rear fairing...would be kickass..

Hey Everyone,

Dont worry, I won't forget anyone. Anyone who is interested, send me a PM. Even if you are just looking for a price, hit me up.

I just finished the shorty. Had to put in the baffle and pack it and bolt it all together. I have to say, the sound on this bad boy is sick! I'm leaving the shorty on my bike. Its deep and loud. Here is a link to a short video clip.

Let me know what you think. I'm putting together pricing this weekend and should have everything set by Monday.

Tom

Is that pipe touching the rear swing arm?  Is that the way the final product witll be or is it just trial and error?

Thanks man. This pipe isn't touching the swing arm. It is close though. The one piece pipe my mfg is making will have plenty of clearance as well the right angle. This was just our mock up for testing sound, performance, fitment etc. I'll ditch this one once I get the final pipes from mfg.

hey bootleg i got the same exact color as you and the exact same undettail! I gotta say that the black undertail is ridiculously goodlooking. I ordered the red but i didnt get it painted  and the red "paint" it came with  its all starting to chip off! anyway let me know if you painted it black or ordered it that way! also I WANT ONE OF THOSE PIPES YOUR MAKING PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOUR SELLING THEM. YOU COULD DEFINITELY MAKE SOME BUCKS SELLING THOSE.

Yo 1Up,

I ordered the undertail black. I knew the reds they offered wouldnt match very well and fogired if black didn't look good I'll just paint it. But I like the black. Doesn't look too bad imo.
