Also, I'm thinking of making the tips black Annodize. What does everyone think? I might offer both.

I am not sure that I like the idea of a black tip, carbon body and a silver midpipe.  If it had a black midpipe I would be a little more keen.  I like the silver tip the most, I have a silver bike so I am a little biased.

Hey Guys,

I'll probably be offering silver and black tips. If anyone wants a different color, I might be able to do it with a larger lead time. Same with the aluminum cans. I'll probably be able to offer different colors for a little more and a little longer leadtime. I'll stock the CF's.

Ha. Thanks. I'm going to my mfg today. I approved the midpipe Monday and its in production finally. Its a small run so it won't take long. They just ordered the CF Shells and are machining my billet tips. I'll get an ETA today as to when I should be able to start assembly. I'm trying to get these out ASAP. Thanks again.

I can't wait to see the final results.  I know this is too early to ask but do u plan on dyno tuning the pipes.  Also what setting would be most accurate to use with my power commander.  I have a Jardine Pipe set to it now.  I am sure it will be different with the shorty CF can.  and suggestions

Yo Guys,

Sorry for being MIA. I was out of the country on business and got back last night. The latest  on the exhaust is I'm just waiting for my MF cans to arrive any day. I know everyone is chomping at the bit and so am I. Believe me when I say I'm pushing everyone I can to get this project off the ground. On a side note, I just picked up the new tips that we are going to use. The model you see in all these pics is a proprietary design for Yamaha. But my mfg had another design. Take a look at the pics below and let me know what you think. Its a 2 piece design and is pretty trick.

I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for your patience!
