Just found this post. If there are any more rides I'm down. Keep posting them. How did the last one go? Good turn out?

There isn't much in New Hope, just alot of bikes/visitors on the weekends, but it's a nice relaxing drive to get there on the PA side if you take River Road. Once you get to New Hope you can hop back over to Lambertville (NJ side) and take that up to French Town (also jersey side.) If you take the bridge over to PA you can then ride south back down to New Hope. Basically, you go in one big loop, but get to do it in two different states, and totally different roads. I'm currently living about 5 minutes from river road, just outside trenton (PA side) so if anyone ever wants to do the run, just let me know, I'm always up for riding.

AHHHH - most excellent.... I did a lit of riding in my 20s in the W Trenton, New hope, Lambertville and points north up the Delaware. I don't have much use for New Hope now, back in the day, I was a flight instructor at Mercer Co airport. After work, we spent much time at Fran's pub and the Landing in New Hope. Fran's was a nice yupie biker bar back then, I wonder what's its like now... Now the good news. Great scenery going North on the Jersey side, when you get to Frenchtown, make the right turn, down a few stores on the right is a great coffe bar, good place to meet..........for the ride to Van Sant airport in Erwina PA. Cross the bridge to PA (wire mesh - so you can see the river under your feet!) I would have to map out the rest.........If you do it right, you go under a covered bridge. The airport has a grass runway, glider and biplane rides. One of the few places in the world you can rent a Stearman biplane (WW II open cockpit primary trainer) We used to have picnics there. Anyone up for a ride? I will check my sked, and make an official post on its own thread
