I am not sure you really want to remove the weights. So is there anything wrong with the bar ends off of ebay?

Sorry Dusterdude Diddnt think of a drangrace bike. Well when I had my bar ends off the other day I didnt see any way that they would come out. You may have to get some sort of light weight bars or something.

Yeah the vibrations in the handlebars without bar ends are pretty bad... I need a set. Anywhere I can get some that will for sure fit the CBR?

you should be able to drill out the spot welds that hold the weights in place.
