I bought my Ninja 250 cash. I've been saving up for a couple of years and I have the cash to buy a newer bike (01-02 F4i) cash.

Cash and loan. If you borrow the money from the bank you might be able to cut a deal like i did. borrow a little less then half the bike price and use the bike as collateral and say you don't want to put full covarage on it. Worked for me on my car and bike.Have to build credit some how.

$cash$

I've been saving for over a year for my next bike (1000rr) which I'll pay all cash for also. And buy used... I can't justify the extra $2-3,000 for a brand-new bike over last-years model.

I also paid Cash like most, but the guy wasnt too thrilled about taking my cash since i hide my money in used condoms so no one steals it. Small bills only.

thats what i'm talking about. that is totally do-able for me.

also as another question.... where did you find your bike???

i've been scouring craigslist with a few good hits. the cycle trader only had like six F4i's; a couple which were at a dealer really close to me, i'm going to check those out.

hmm decisions..

19 years old, i got approved for a loan!  what!?  ill take that F4i over there! lol... i paid $2200 down and the rest I fincanced through the dealer, $69 a month payment...pay on it for about a year or so...need credit, then it will be paid off!  Although i wish i would have just been patient and saved the rest of the money up....waited 19 years, whats another 6months to get the rest of the money? lol oh well....
