The pic of the RCV is in Motor Cyclist Mag. There is an article on the bike.

I think the bike would look more like this one. The point I was making about the 2007 CBR600RR was they didn't drastically change the apperance of the bike. They did completely redesign it for the better (engine and looks). But the overall look is still basically the CBR600RR look. The look of the one posted in the beginning of this thread is a drastic change from looking like a CBR600RR. It looks more like an italian bike IMO.

Gotchya! I like the pic of the bike you posted too, but I would expect an underseat exhaust? I think that's just an awesome look. I'm not sure if the intake is directly below the windscreen in your pic or what?

Yeah, can't really tell if the intake exhaust is below the windscreen or not. Nice looking bike though. Would prefer an underseat exhaust also. If they are going to put the exhaust down low like the Gixxers, I'd rather have it look like the other bike, where it's coming out of the fairing and you can't really notice it.

It needs some huge front turn signal before Honda would sell it...  I like the side exhaust except all the aftermarket for the GSXR's and R6's look horrible IMHO.  The Gixxer Microns are kind alright but...  They could write it off as "mass centralization" I guess

It looks alright.  I still prefer the current look.  I do like the front air cowl like on the 600RR, but I don't like that stupid looking side exhaust.  IF Honda follows through with that horrible idea then I hope they leave an option to convert it to a dual exhaust bike.  The R6 with its little side pipe actually sounds a little too loud.  I think Honda will make a mistake by putting the exhaust back on the side.  They need to keep it tucked up in the rear like they have it now.  I try to trade in every few years a new 1K.  I'll probably buy it when it comes out but I hope they've made some preformance enhancements as well

I'd think a side exhaust like this would be a performance enhancement; straight out....no pressure/backpressure to buildup in all the bends to get it out under the seat. However, I really must admit the under-seat exhaust is the best looking in the industry. This doesn't look nearly as appealing to me in my opinion, but "functionality before looks" does have an appeal as well...

I like it. Except it would need a fender eliminator and flush mounts right off the show room floor.  Not sure if I would trade in my 06 for one but if this is what it would look like then it would definitely be an option.

But if you look at the end of the 600RR you notice that the tail light is under the exhaust and mounted in with all the plastic crap that hangs down!  maybe this way with a side pipe it wont be a problem?
