Thanks for the help earlier with the installing for everyone that posted. . .

By the way I removed my 02 sensor and I could expect the FI light to light up, but is anything going to ever be wrong with the pipe fuel injection wise since I unplugged it completely?  Anyways here's the pictures of the pipe now that I'm done.

I had some pretty tasty strips in that shot, too.  I like to dunk mine in sweet and sour sauce .  Zultan, if you get a blue carbon fiber windscreen, and a grim reaper tank guard, I'm going to get a little concerned.

Looks good

Doesn't Micron offer a Blue/Black fade muffler though???

I think that'd look sweet!

They do and that's the one I'm looking at getting for my bike. I'm debating between the Yosh RS3 stainless or CF and the Micron blue/black. How about some high quality sound clips?!!!!! =D I like how the Yosh sounds, it's real "indy carish". I heard it on a GSXR 750 but I've yet to hear the micron live. I'M SO CONFUSED!

Ok, I don't get one thing. Which parts have you replaced? Is this midpipe from Micron? There is no separation  between a canister and a midpipe on the stock exhaust (its where your springs are right now).

Looks hawt!

Here is what you need when you eliminate the O2 sensor: http://cart.dynojet.com/p-814-sensor-eliminator-o2-oxygen-sensor-eliminator.aspx

Works awesome. Never had a problem with the FI light in over 2000 miles.

Yes the Yoshimuras sound GREAT on the GSXR's

I had a Yosh RS-3 on my bike before I sold it....sounded awesome.  Either the Two Brothers or the Yoshimura exhausts sound great on these bikes.

(Sorry to you Micron guys, but...) I had a Micron before that, but it sounded like crap.  A lot of resonance (buzzing) that you'd hear when riding and got annoying really quick.

A couple more notes/comparisons......The Yosh has a polished midpipe whereas the Micron midpipe is raw stainless.....and also (to get picky) the Micron has more hardware to put it on as opposed to the Yosh

But the Microns do look really sweet with the colored & faded canisters

You are correct the stock exhaust is one welded piece (midpipe & muffler)

Aftermarket exhaust for the F4i are two pieces like pictured (and come together when you buy a "slip on exhaust").....the midpipe is separate from the muffler.

You attach the (new) midpipe to the header and then slide the new muffler onto the end of the midpipe  and then it's held the midpipe with springs and then a clamp goes around the muffler to hold it to the passenger/exhaust bracket

Yeah it took some sanding to get the pipe to fit on at first because it was being a P.I.T.A fitting it on after i took off the stock pipe.
