If this is your first time...........I would be VERY pleased with an 11.50 or better..........but I wouldnt count on it.  Work on launching.......getting under 2.0 60ft your first trip will be hard........

I would guess some where in the mid 11's for your first trip.

lol or it could go like my first ever pass.  where i was shaky and my heart was pounding, i had a horrible 60' and ran a low 12 lol
i wouldnt worry about your first pass so much, but just get used to the process in the first place, and then work on your launches.  its one of those things that you can only learn so much by being told. its all in the practice and feel.

Your first time run's will be in the high 12. If you are lucky the times may drop to the mid 12's by the end of the day. To get under 12 on a track takes some practice and some training. Remember many fish stories are told on 1/4 times.

Ya know it is hard to explain how to get a good launch. But no matter what you need one to get anywhere on the bigger bikes. On my stock clutch i used to rev the bike up and down between 5-9 rpm's then ride the crap out of the clutch so it wouldnt jerk up real hard. New clutch and lowered and a hole lot more done to it. I hold it at 9 amd just dump it and hang on and use my shifter to get me down the track. You might run into traction problems this way. So you might need to lower your tire pressure. Also have to worry about wheelies half way down the track.  Either way i would go find some old road that no one travels on and practice your launch. My best time1/8 mile is 6.8 and i hold that time here in Clarksville TN as the fastest 600 in town that isnt Juiced.(NOS) So good luck and have fun The Kid
