I have a 94 F2 that to be kind is rough.  It was bought for 300 dollars.  It was used as a track bike.  Everything that can be bent is except for the frame or forks.

I hate to say it but I can't stand the looks of the F2.  My question is would it be best to modify the bike to look like an 600rr or spend my money on a used newer bike?

Could someone give me an idea how much their modifications cost?

I'd say go for something newer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'm not a huge fan of the F2's, but I've seen some tricked out ones here that out-style and out-class the ones.  There is one good point about modding your F2, you get to build the bike the way you want it.  I bought my F4 for $7k and dropped another $7k into it just trying to make it mine.
