I had an r/t of .003 once and ran somewhere in the mid to high 10s on my 99 900 RR. I just tore my room apart looking for the time slips...Ill find em though, 10.4xxx was the best I ran on that bike.

Completely stock '03 600RR w/~4500 miles on the clock at the time.  Never been to the track before on a bike (been many times in my cars), had about 2 months total riding experience.  Only made 2 passes, the first being an 11.54 @ 122.95 w/2.17 60'.

Second pass:
R/T: .6139
60': 2.1089
330': 5.1440
594': 7.0792
1/8: 7.5090 @ 104.71
1/4: 11.3809 @ 123.64

With some launching practice (I know it has A LOT more in it), I hope to eek out some 10 second passes this year.  I also have had a bit more riding time with it, put another 2500 miles or so on it and feel much more comfortable on it, by the time I get it to the track again I will likely have put yet another 2k miles or so on it too.

I love the look in people's eye's when they ask if it is a 1000 and I smile and say nope just a little old 600.

today was my first time ever on an official drag strip, and actually my first time ever trying to drag-race my bike... i don't like to fool around on the streets much... but anyways, i took 2nd in eliminations cuz everyone was breaking out, including me... had horrible trials, stalled twice off the line, but my first run of the night was my best by far...

12.09 @ 104.63

my fastest top speed run was 12.45 @ 118.27

i consider it a succesful trip to the track... mostly cuz i didn't: a) crash.  b) blow up the bike.   and cuz i DID enjoy myself!  I plan to go back next week if the weather's nice.

Made back to back 6.37's on my 04 CBR 600RR. Along with 8 more passes from 6.49-6.42 for my IHRA license. Yes these are 1/8 mile times. and I have the slips to prove it. This bike has no spray either.

    Ran 7.2 @ 102 in the 1/8th today.  1.8x 60'.

I don't think it's bad for stock height bike with just a pipe.

If he is running hi 10s/ lo 11s then its a drivers race b/c thats what your bike runs.  Perfect launch on the bike = high 10s...

EDIT: I see you have a 1000rr so yes you should beat him if you can launch.  From a roll you should beat him too...
