Sorry for asking a dumb NOOB question.. but did u connect the wires to?? run them with the exisitng turn singal on the fiarings? or direct to the battery??

Wow I haven't been on this forum in forever. I did not remove the bosses. I just enlarged the holes as the bolt pattern on the gsxr mirros is different. I considered swapping mounting bases between the mirrors but it is not doable. The wires travel through the mirrow body and through the hollow stalk, and then through a hole I drilled between the two mounting bolts. They are wired to the stock turn signal connectors. I extended the wires and swapped connectors so they plug right in. You can see it in the pics. BTW I could not see an easy way to run them as running lights as the stock signals. The stock signals use a dual fillament bulb and the gsxr mirrors use a single. I don't see a need as the bike already has a running light above the headlight. I guess if you wanted you could install some flush mounts and run them as running lights in combination with the singal mirrors.

If you re still around, how is the visibility in the mirrors? I figured it may be out of adjustment due to the different fairing shapes.
