Well, I got rid of the F2 and finally got my XX.  It is a 98 with 12,600 miles on it. It has brand new factory exhaust and is in excellent condition. Now, this is the best part, I got it for only $3500!!! It belonged to the son of the guy I am buying it from. His son had passed away a few years ago and they just let the bike sit in the garage. They didn't want to sell it for sentamental reasons. They finally decided to sell but were very picky who they were going to sell it to, they had to find just the right person to purchase their son's bike. Well, the guy saw how enthusiastic I was about purchasing it and knew that I wasn't going to tear it up. He knew with me it was going to be very well taken care of so I got very lucky with this deal. He is a really cool guy and he has a chromed out Valkery (sp?) so I plan on going on quite a few rides with him. I am picking up the bike today and I will get some pics on when I do. Now, about me. My name is Kyle and I live in Glendale, AZ. I am stationed here at Luke, AFB. Yep, I am active duty chair force. I'm 22 and married to the most wonderful woman in the world. We have two great little boys, 2 and 1, who I am afraid are going to be in as much trouble as I was in when I was younger. Well, that is my intro and I look forward riding with some of you guys.

Man that sounds like a great deal!  you'll love the XX, it's fast and very comfortable, we currently own two of them and I had another one a couple of years ago,   first mods I do on all our XX's is, Buel foot pegs, around $30 bucks to get another 1 1/2" of leg room . VFR bars, gives ya another 1 1/2 rise on the bars and they look stock when compared to Heli bars and a Puig Double bubble shield,   or you can even put a stock shield from a 2001 and up XX, they are slightly taller and have more of a DB profile. here are a couple of sights for ya, stop in and introduce your self,    Oh and do make sure you post some pics, like we say, it isn't true , unless you have pics to back it up!

Ok, here are some pics.  It needs paint and the tank needs work.  But, I got a good deal especially with how few of miles it has on it.
