This dude I ride with has a 636. I have to admit: That bike is fast! It is noticably lighter(as a 600 should be) but man it really takes off! Both the 636 and the 600rr's really surprise me. You have to hand it to those newer 600's, they are really damn quick!

Couple guys I ride with have a 06' 636 and a 06' 600rr, while both are quick and nimble I have no issues pulling either stop light to stop light or on the freeway at top speed! Rode the rr the other day and it felt like riding a cheap pit bike compared to my 954

i rode my boy's 05 636 and it one the fastest 600s i ever rode. In first gear when you get on it when hits about 12500, 13000 the front tire slowly lifts right of the ground. it extremly light and you can dip pretty low too. I comparing it to my other friend's f4i and the 636 is defly faster and lighter

whoever has the sack to twist the throttle more, wins the race. all these bikes will go very fast, but if you get scared, or dont know how to ride, then you lose. theres no shame in staying alive.

brought back from the dead, huh. well according to the originator of this thread, he knows how to ride. Furthermore, he has ridden is 954 faster than anyone on these boards. Damn good rider if you ask me.

did we ever get that video posted? or did it magically erase itself?

My brother i law has a 06 CBR 600RR and it is a quick little bike he can    kind of keep    up with me till about 100 to 110 but then I just walk away from him.  I let him take mine and I took his and I toped it out at 142 does that sound about right for the 600?
