Got to sypathise with you. Mine is an absolute bastard to take off and refit sometimes. Been stood at the roadside for over 30 minutes trying to put it back.

i have throw overs under my seat to make it extra tricky, yip shadow is right push down on rear of seat BEFORE turning key, then it should pop up, if that doesnt work then the linkage is probably seazed, when did u have the seat last off?

Hi all Before updwards on mine , i have to slide it rearwords first while turning the key all the way , that is how I do it.

+1 on pushing down on the seat, right over the latch, while turning the key. I've done this before, and it's worked. Also, if you store stuff back there, under the seat, sometimes that can screw with the latch. I have a manual back there, and sometimes my hat, etc.
