I got two reverse gears. Is that bad? I did do a reverse wheelie though. It was sweet!!!

It seems like there are a lot of serious riders posting here, so I thought I'd ask a couple questions?
1. Which exhaust sounds best?
2. Do I need premium fuel?
3. I'm about to buy my first bike ever, should I get a 600 or just go right to the 1000 since I'll outgrow
a 600 by the time I trade in my learners permit for a real license?

your new so ill go easy on you . 1st of all dont thread jack ! (its rude) 2ndly read through posts already on the forum and you can browse them by the "search" function.

as for your questions. best exhaust is a personal opinion., no you dont need to run premium unless your manual/bike says so. and lastly there are tons of people who have gotten 600/1000 as their 1st bikes and died equally as fast. same can be said for starting with a 250. there are alot of 1st bike topics that will help you choose .

good luck and welcome

YOU GUYS GOT IT ALL WRONG!!!!

You don't need a turbo...here's what i did:  I simply swapped the front and rear sprockets!!! Now i have a 45 tooth in the front and a 15 in the rear. It's a pain in the ass to get out of the driveway (i have to get my fiance to pull me in the car!!) but i can go 150mph in first gear....i'm not sure about the top speed, cuz i pegged it out in 4th and came over a hill, and the wind actually picked my bike up and i floated for about 400 feet. Of course this caused me to slow down so i'm not sure how fast i could've gone...................

347 mph, at night, with the lights off, in reverse, pulling a wheelie, naked, drunk, in a school zone, with a bag of crack taped to the handlebars, and a illegal alien prostitute making a porn movie on the back seat. And the cop that pulled me over gave me a warning!!
