Goin' back to Cali...from Albuquerque to the Bay Area for the race weekend (July 20-22) and back. Also plan some choice rides on the Bolinas-Fairfax run, and in The City.

I would love to see Laguna. I watched the American LeMans on Speed this year at Laguna and I really wish I was there. I did make it to Road America last year in my STi and did make it out onto the track for about 10-15 laps. I miss that car but RA would be a dream on a bike.

With all the rippin' around the Bay area I dream of doing, I should put another 3,000 Mi. on Her, thereby doubling my total miles ridden, in life. I tried this ride last Fall, but weather caused me to abort and divert to Grand Canyon. Like I say, Maevis is taking me. Is epic for me and over twenty years too late. I could depart ABQ midday on the 17th, but It is more prudent to rest at a friends house until the 18th. Get up before the sun and head West on this "Vision Quest". Gonna be hot ! Woo-Hoo! From Friday night through the next week, I'll be in The City, driving in (London) foggy conditions, which will be a relief from the desert! I can't wait to hit California Street, with its slick cable-car tracks. Gonna be interesting. Pax, G.
