I agree, Honda will only replace or warranty a bike part if it was installed by a certified Honda tech.

For the love of god, don't buy a really sweet machine and ghetto it up! If you're looking for loud and performance, look into LeoVince, yoshi, Scorpion etc....please!

Amen to that!

no no its ok remember he is friends with the manager , i mean if dating his daughter and having a beer with the guy isnt enough for a business man to say "forget about the warranty.. i got you " then i dont know what is

Yeah...  Him and I are pretty tight...  He is a nice guy..  He hasn't seen/heard the bike yet..  But I'm sure things will work out just fine...  If not, I've worked on enough bikes to know my way around...

It doesnt matter if you are tight ro not, he doesnt make the decision to warranty it or not, he has no control over it.

Im coming into this thread a little late.....WOW you beat a gixxer 600, with the right rider the new 600RR will hang with the new gixxer 750. Thats in stock form with out having your bike sound like VW powered sandrail.

Even better yet. My buddy has the 07 600RR. I was looking at the size of the can.....I bet you can fit a flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber muffler under there. You know flowmasters add 20+ hp.......25+ if you install the sticker that comes with the muffler.

Yep, the AMA guy got owned by the OP. Must have been the extra power from the straight exhaust, it added mad power ya know.
