Color questions
1) i was looking at the colors and i really like the candy red...is it possible to add some black to it to make it like a really dark candy red???

also 2) could you post a side by side shot of the black chrome, metallic black, and mirror black, i am thinking i might use two of the three and want to see what would mesh well with each other....

Price questions

1) I want to do my rearsets, passenger pegs, levers (possibly)....how much to do those as a set??? or individually??

1a) i might also be snagging a chainguard, pretty much the same size as stock just metal with some cnc'ing on it....how much?

2) is it possible to powdercoat the stock bar ends off a honda and also is it possible (or recommended) to powder the kickstand?

thanks...

I cant add black no but the thicker its put on the darker it gets.  Check through my website to find various pics of various colors for comparison.  Pegs are $25 each and levers $10 each.  Chain guard id have to see.  As for the other pats its no problem aslong as theyre metal.

Awesome to see your back...hope you had a nice vacation...since I wrote that, I have finally determined what I am going to do....

Next week I am getting a nice little payday which is going strictly to powdercoating....

one question, do you by chance have a side by side of the black chrome agains the mirror black...i just want to see the contrast between the two...essentially how black is the black chrome and how shiney...

But here is what I am thinking I will be sending for powder...all probably in the black chrome...could you tell me roughly how much for all of it...

* Both rims, rearsets (both), both passenger pegs, both levers, stator cover, crankcase cover
** as well as a chainguard and heel guards

* I MIGHT have another like small...smaller than the heel guards pieces as well...but i can tell you that later...

Finally, sending you the passenger pegs and rearsets, do I just need to take them off and send them to you or do i have to dissassemble them, or do you just coat them as is?

Thanks a lot, look forward to doing business with you...should be in about 3 weeks or so. (what would be the turn around time for all this)?

Thanks Tony

I checked through my pics and couldnt find a side by side.  What i can tell you though is the mirror black is a high gloss black, where as the black chrome is more of a light gunmetal/grey.  As far as total price youre roughly looking in the $300 for everything plus shipping.  Once we get a final part list, and color i can give an exact discounted price based on quantity etc.  As far as turn around it really depends on how busy i am....in 3 weeks it should take about 1-2 weeks or so.  Sometimes im able to squeeze it in and get parts done quick.  The rearseats, pegs, and levers all need to be taken apart and broken down before sending in.

alright, that seems doable.....i have $400 or so for coating, but i do need to buy some stands so i can disassemble things....lol....

if you can do a "price break" for a lot of things, my buddy is also considering doing his wheels as well and said if you can give a break, he can send his in at the same time as well....

as for the black chrome...does it still look "black".....pretty much i just want the things listed to pop off the glossly black paint but not be too far off the black color....i will eventually, probably next year or so, send you my frame and sub to be powder mirror black so that gives you an idea where i am going...the bike is also going to get painted mostly gloss black with some red fades....

in your "expert" opinion how do you think that would look? i mean using the black chrome just for those things i mentioned above....and having a gloss black frame and body?

The black chrome really has no black to it at all...its basically a metallic grey or gunmetal.  I think it could look good to offset a gloss black without having to much black though.  As far as a price break i most certainly can work on a discounted price.  As always the more parts you send me the more i can knock off the grand total for you.  Once you guys get a grand total of the parts you need give me a call, message me here, or send me an email and i can price everything out for you.

Hey I had a question about some powdercoating for my 2000 cbr f4.  I want to get the frame, subframe, pegs, and all visible chromed out parts powdercoated black.  About how much will this cost me?  How long does a job like this usually take?  Do I need to take out the engine and take off the plastics in order to powder coat?

frames and subframes usually run around $275, pegs $25 each etc.  Bke would have to be completely torn apart for coating.
