good stunter bike?

Vermino -> good stunter bike? (7/11/2007 3:30:47 PM)

ok, seeing how i've been riding for another year, i've started to get in my comfortable position again on my new bike and that's how i wrecked the last one haha.. But me and my boy were looking at stunters all last week in the classifieds, seeing how he doesnt have a bike - he's going to pitch in with the money so he can ride it around town with me but we also want a beater that can handle the drops so we can just take it down to a nice empty loading dock and have some fun.
well from my experience from bikes, i figured 600cc would be sufficient enough for a stunter. but wondering what is the best bike to use? I didn't know if we wanted carb or fuel injected. what year, type of bike.. I know everyone has their own style but just like to get some feedback before i start really looking.

right now the 3 most used bikes for stunting are

f4i
636 2003-2004
05+ 600rr

the 636 is gangster for o's as well as the f4i, of course the Honda will take a better beating that the fragile Kawi

n_hamby -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/13/2007 3:00:49 PM)

F4I all the way

Err -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/13/2007 3:02:34 PM)

f4i is cake......

StuntPunkJames -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/14/2007 3:22:57 PM)

636 is actually the way to go, but I dont reccomend that for a beginner due to how fragile it is

Joker_114th -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/14/2007 3:56:18 PM)

F4i thats the way to go.
                         Just add 1 x-tra Qt. o Oil.......

StuntPunkJames -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/14/2007 4:04:43 PM)

yeah  dont put a whole extra qt of oil in it, run 4 qts (bout half qt over)  OR you can go for the stuntex oil pickup

Vermino -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/14/2007 4:33:36 PM)

yeah i know - just fill it alittle more so when wheelies come up, it the oils still runs thru the whole engine.. i read the whole stunt starter guide.. thanks for the help guys.. me and my boy are goign to look around for an F4i - pick it up around winter time (no stunting but hey, hope someone wrecks there's and willing to sell for cheap around my area) i dont wish that but if it happens, i'm going to be looking muhaha..

onewheelneil -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/22/2007 5:04:04 AM)

F4i is all around the best, or you could get a 07 1000rr (lol)

rabbit -> RE: good stunter bike? (7/22/2007 8:55:14 AM)

F4I is a great bike to use. Light easy to flick around. I use my 929, but will be switching to an RR or the F4I over the winter and using the 929 to kill the hwys with. [:D]

DThompson -> RE: good stunter bike? (1/9/2008 9:10:49 PM)

any CBR would be great to stunt with.  I would prefer and year F3, F4, F4i, 600RR, Newer GSXR's but you have to watch the oil starving, R6, newer Kawisakis.  The older ones were huge same as suzukis.  Pretty much any 600 or up bike that doesnt look like it should be drag bike instead of a stunter.  And I mean like a Hayabusa is plain as day better suited for the drag than for stunts compared to a 1000RR that looks more sleak and would be much better for stunting.

yarbrouc -> RE: good stunter bike? (1/10/2008 8:03:45 PM)

F4i! No doubt. I also like the 01-03 GSXR 600

tofnlows10 -> RE: good stunter bike? (2/9/2008 6:52:02 PM)

have had a f4i, 636, and rr...like my f4i the best!

Icefox -> RE: good stunter bike? (2/12/2008 1:40:38 PM)

I'll throw in a vote for the F4i too, FI is a lot nicer than carbureted if you can spend a little extra money, and the F4i has a reputation of being pretty bulletproof and is fairly cheap to fix because there is a large aftermarket for them and even a lot of used parts out there too!
