i was just wondering if the air/fuel mixture screws on the outside carbs were connected to the inside carbs or if they have their own? i was told to turn them a couple turns, and i could only see them on the outside carbs, and couldnt see any on the inside ones or see if they were connected or anything. i at least hope im looking at the right screws! im new to the hurricane hehe

Each carb has its own mixture screw. The inner screws can be difficult to access without a special tool.

just to be sure, you were looking at the screws on the bottom of the carbs and not the ones on the sides which are the drain screws?

I made my tool for the pilot air screws out of a long piece of wire. Flatten the end & file it to shape. The screws are not tight So damage is unlikely but if you don't know what you are doing with the screws  "don't touch".
